Philanthropic Support

Since 2000, Nutrition Diets has been supporting the humanitarian work of the PRASAD Project; a NGO committed to helping economically disadvantaged communities achieve self-reliance by offering health, education & sustainable community development programs.

Philosophy

PRASAD (Philanthropic Relief, Altruistic Service And Development) is a not-for-profit organization and philanthropic expression of the Siddha Yoga path. It was initiated in 1992 by Gurumayi Chidvilasananda, the spiritual head of Siddha Yoga.

PRASAD’s values are underpinned by the Siddha Yoga philosophy, which recognises the inherent dignity and worth of each person, respects and loves others, affirms the spirit of generosity that creates abundance and believes that human beings have within themselves great virtues, wisdom and capabilities.

Their philanthropic work takes on a holistic approach and helps to develop wide-ranging and sustainable solutions to make life-changing impact possible in India, Mexico & the USA.

10% of every new patient’s initial consultation fee is donated to the PRASAD Project.
